Welcome Sinatra + Heroku
Just moved my personal site over to Heroku. I rewrote the site in an afternoon using the excellent Ruby mini framework Sinatra.
The site now basically aggregates feeds from all the different services I use (Flickr, Last.fm, Twitter, Delicious, etc.) and caches the front page. Since I’m not really blogging anymore it didn’t make sense to keep maintaining a blogging system installation (previously Mephisto).
The migration to Heroku’s awesome service was a breeze, and now I can put those valuable RAM megabytes in my Slicehost to a better use!
